Negotiating – Women Can Play That Game Too!

As service providers, many women business owners struggle to ask for high prices, feeling overly concerned about the financial welfare of their prospects or clients. As a result, women earn significantly less than their male counterparts.

Research shows that almost 90% of all women-owned businesses make less than $100,000 of gross revenue per year! The gender income gap exists because women allow it to happen. Women tend to be overly concerned about the financial wellbeing of their prospects, instead of focusing on the value they provide and their own financial wellbeing. Understanding the art of negotiations can help shift the focus and enable female entrepreneurs to make more money and feel valued for the expertise they provide.

Cindy Gordon of Business Rescue Coaching will share some tips to help women entrepreneurs feel confident about their value, understand the components of the negotiation process and feel confident with the final results. No more giving away services for free!
